Studstones

• The studstones can be heat pressed onto the garments.
• Two kinds of studstones: rhinestones and metal studs (faceted & nailhead).

Direction for Application: Nail-Head & Rhinestone Motifs

1. Pre-wash garment before applying motif. Do not use fabric softener.
2. Remove the white backing paper from the design. Design remains in place on the clear adhesive sheet.
3. Place the clear adhesive sheet (with design) on garment. We recommend placing the white backing paper under the fabric to prevent sticking. Cover with thin white cotton cloth or Teflon.
4. Set home iron on cotton-linen mode (no steam), and place iron directly on the white pressing cloth. Avoid any steam on the design and press firmly for 20~30 seconds in each spot until entire design has been pressed.
5. Using heat-seal machine, set at 300~350 degrees and press for 20~30 seconds.
6. DO NOT REMOVE CLEAR TACKY SHEET – Allow to cool.
7. If applying to a thicker material, you may need to turn the garment inside out and press from the back accordingly. Allow to cool before removing the clear sheet. Fabrics vary. Therefore, you need to perform a preliminary test first.
